Give or take some 40+ years ago my (Jason’s) dad purchased this ‘55 Chevy Nomad. My sister and I grew up in this car going to all the club meetings, monthly car runs, car shows, and annual club campouts. My dad’s life revolved around this car and the club and my sister and I knew no different. This car is just as much a part of us as anything else… it’s in our blood. So when my dad passed away 10 years ago I knew that this car needed to stay in the family and I wanted to raise my boys in it similar to the way my dad raised my sister and me. I wanted to preserve his legacy to hand down through the generations.

Today, we continue to be involved in the club – going to meetings, club runs, and car shows. We attend regular local car cruises like Quarantine Cruise and Donut Derelicts regularly as well as several car shows and try to showcase and share the car as much as possible. This car has graced the 2021 Danchuk calendar and won several car show awards and is an absolute joy to cruise. The memories are priceless.
